Watching Liberals meltdown over Pierre Poilievre appearing on Joe Rogan and claiming that this conversation isn't significant is just pure comedy. As a young Canadian, I know lots of people my age who don’t care much about politics but regularly watch Joe Rogan's show. This episode will no doubt convince many young Canadians who've never been involved in politics before to vote Conservative in the next election and amplify Pierre's message to HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS worldwide.

According to a statement from the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, headquartered at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) had a fire that originated in the laundry spaces and was non-combat related and is contained. Two sailors are being medically treated and are in stable condition. The statement goes on to say that there is no damage to the propulsion plant and the ship remains fully mission capable. The Ford's last known position was in the Red Sea.

@WBrettWilson Why not? It’s the only thing that keeps parties from being in total control. Study the Westminster system a bit more if you’re going to pontificate here. Remember David Emerson and a few others you were ok with.

For clarity - at no time should provincially or federally elected representatives running for a party be allowed to just change parties. The process? 1) step down. 2) change parties. 3) run again. Prove that you admire and respect the people who elected you.

@WBrettWilson The issue with disallowing floor crossing is: what stops an MP from voting against their own party? In theory, you could ban floor crossing, but MPs could circumvent it simply by voting with the party they intended to cross to.
