A story in 3 parts. Infuriating. 1/3 On August 13, 2025, after market close, @roadzeninc $RDZN reported our best Q1 revenue of $10.9 million, up 22% year-over-year, with continued sequential improvement in Adjusted EBITDA. These results were roughly in line with estimates from the analysts who actively cover the company. Investor reaction was immediately positive, with shares rising approximately 10–15% in after-hours and pre-market trading the next day. 2/3 On August 14, an AI-generated article published on The Motley Fool — and syndicated to widely distributed outlets like Nasdaq.com, Yahoo Finance, AOL, and others — falsely claimed that analysts expected roughly $21 million in Q1 revenue, implying Roadzen had missed expectations by nearly 50% (a huge miss). None of Roadzen’s covering analysts carry such estimates, and the figures have zero basis in fact. The stock closed down approximately 10–15%. 3/3 On August 15, The Motley Fool corrected the article on the revenue, adding an editor’s note acknowledging that incorrect analyst estimates had been used (fool.com/data-news/2025…). The article still mentions Roadzen missed EPS by $0.01, which is again not true — our EPS was in line. The Nasdaq version of the story was removed entirely, now showing a 404 error.
