Great work Karl, getting the true out there. Chris Bowen will go down as one of the worst Energy Ministers ever. Epic failure and getting worse by the day. ‘They’re Destroying Our Farms for Net Zero’ | Farmers Fight Back youtu.be/xRKYbS8mJcc?si… via @YouTube

@TheKouk Stephen, your basis is unbelievable. Your credibility is getting lower by the day. Government spending is out of control and Government debt is skyrocketing. Cost of living is a major issue today, surely you can see that.

1990: Poor levels of education, low female workforce participation, high inflation, high unemployment, high interest rates, low life expectancy, company tax rate 39%, top income tax scale of 47% came in at $50,000pa ... And the home ownership rate was only 1 ppt above where it is now. But those were the good old days.

One income. One home. Four kids. Annual holidays. Change left over. That was Australia in 1990. Today two incomes can’t even cover the rent. Same country. Something went very wrong

You and your team start, and work in, a business. You put $250k in to get it to break-even. After a decade of blood, sweat and tears, your business is worth say $5 million. Under Labor's proposal to effectively double capital gains tax by indexing it to inflation, you would see a 96% increase in the tax you would otherwise pay today. You would pay more tax in Australia than if you set up *three* of these $250k businesses in Canada, NZ and the UK, and them sold them for $15m in total. And we were told by the government more than 50 times before the election that they would not touch CGT or negative gearing. Check out this table summary of the change in total CGT paid @GeoffWilsonWAM

@Jeremy_Morton_ @AlboMP Over spending by Governments and lack of accountability is seeing the budget blowing out. Leaving more taxes as the only options to continue the circus. NDIS, NBN, Snowy 2.0, Hydrogen & Renewables have all been an economic disaster. #incompetent

As the @AlboMP Gov't prepares to collect more tax dressed up as a way address intergenerational inequality you do wonder how younger people see it. The proposed changes take away the ability for ALL people to offset a loss against income from their labour & more heavily tax gains from capital they have risked which ultimately makes them poorer. Do you think people understand this? abc.net.au/news/2026-05-0…

Remember when the government announced the $1 billion Economic Resilience Program to help businesses struggling in this fuel mess? They said eligible Australian businesses would have access to zero interest loans. Anyone got one???

$20 Million Ad Campaign 🤦‍♂️ What a waste of money. Standard Labor, wasting taxpayers money for minimal future benefit, when real change is needed in relation to energy security & infrastructure. Government is already drowning in debt, what a mess. abc.net.au/news/2026-04-1…

Gradually, then suddenly… US #wheat crop conditions continue to deteriorate amid drought. In Kansas - the top grower - the share of good/excellent wheat dropped again to 40% (-9 p.p YoY). Conditions are likely to worsen further as rains are forecast to miss key western and central areas. #oatt #agwx #wheat #grains #sizovreport
