🇺🇸 Video from the Artemis 2 capsule recovery shows the team opening the charred hatch, with the four astronauts smiling inside after completing their nearly 700,000 mile journey around the Moon.

🇺🇸 The USS Gerald R. Ford is heading back to the fight 282 days deployed. A laundry fire that displaced hundreds of sailors and needed mattresses pulled from a carrier that hasn't even been commissioned yet. Repairs in Greece and Croatia. And now it's turning back toward the Middle East instead of going home. With the Bush strike group already underway from Norfolk, the Boxer amphibious group departing Hawaii, and a nuclear submarine spotted in the Strait of Gibraltar, the U.S. is about to have three carrier strike groups, two Marine amphibious groups, and an SSGN converging on the same theater. That concentration of firepower hasn't been seen since the invasion of Iraq. Source: USNI News
