🚨 URGENT UPDATE FOR CREATORS & VTUBERS 🚨 Team YouTube has officially acknowledged an ongoing issue affecting Shorts and Homepage recommendations. My advice: DO NOT hit publish right now. If you post while the recommendation system is bugged, your content won't be pushed out properly to the Shorts feed or your audience's homepages. You will lose that crucial initial momentum, which can completely tank your video's reach and ruin the optimization work you've put into it. Hold onto your drafts and pause any scheduled posts until this is completely resolved. I’ll keep an eye on the thread and let you know when it’s safe to upload again.

This is actually pathetic at this point what youtube is doing. Even massive channels with thousands and millions of subscribers are dealing with the same bullshit. You drop a new video and for the first ~72 hours (sometimes longer) it gets basically zero recommendation reach. (Even your own subs won't get it in their feed) Doesn’t matter if the tiny group that sees it is clicking, watching, and engaging well, strong CTR, good retention, whatever. ( And if you don't have that instant CTR and engagement, they completely kill off the video) YouTube just sits there doing nothing. Then after 3 days it suddenly decides “okay fine, now we’ll push it.” And when you ask support? They just shrug and say “this is totally normal :)” ????? Yeah, sure. Totally normal to kneecap every new upload and make growth feel impossible. I’m so fucking tired of this 72-hour freeze. Youtube is a platform that hates it's own content creators, big or small! Anyone else completely fed up with it?

VTUBER DESIGNERS! It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with Twitch TOS in mind so you do not accidentally design a model that gets your client banned! If your client is looking for a particular outfit that may get them banned, offering them a modesty toggle is best practice!
