A child in my child’s class sent a message to the teacher which said “stop giving us homework you bitch or I’ll slap you until you’re homeless” and I told other parents about it. The mum just sent me a message saying I’m bullying her bully child?!? Laaaaawd help me because GTFOH!

@GCSE_Macbeth Totally feel this and when you teach it again the next year you realise sometimes the sequencing should change etc - the first go round always feels a bit less polished!

An under-reported factor when thinking about workload is how MORE WORK it is when you're teaching or planning a particular topic/unit/text for the first time.

Suddenly all the kids in kidos class seem to be walking everywhere with no adults/parents.To/from school,some from pretty long distances. Then to guides in evening. Is it normal for 10 year old children to be walking alone like that? I’m not ready even if kido thinks she is! X

@soloparentuk It’s so hard when they compare themselves to what others are doing and it’s all about the safety of where you live as well - there are places near us that I’d be like absolutely not on your own !

I’ve taken munjaro but my anxiety around it is so high I think I’m making myself feel sick with worry

Last year our house insurance jumped from £550 to 950 and we hadn’t made a claim - this year we did make a 1500 claim (only time we’ve ever claimed in 10 years and now it’s jumped to 1700 - this is why people are struggling to live ! Things are literally doubling each year!
