@CoachSwit Exit velo needed kids get older/fielding is better. Space to get hits is smaller. Door opens with velo but shuts if it doesn’t translate into game success. Actively in process of recruiting. Coaches get interested with #s but make decision seeing in game at bats.

There are a lot of showcase hitters with great exit velo and BP swings. But year after year, they don’t produce in games. Why recruit metrics over production? Take the game hitter every time! Thank me later.

This. My son turned 12 a few days ago. There are countless money grabs out there like this. Parents, there is zero reason to spend $400 plus travel expenses for a showcase at age 12. Zero.

One of the most common questions we get about AI data centers is how much water do they use? Fair question. Older designs cooled servers by evaporating water and people naturally assume ours do too. They don't. $IREN's sites are different. Direct-to-chip liquid cooling in a closed loop. Same idea as a car radiator or a fridge. Fill it once and the water just goes round and round. Over the life of a 200MW site, the initial fill plus every top-up averages out to about as much water each year as 3 households. Not a town. Not a suburb. Not a street... 3 houses. Water matters in the regions we build in. Which is precisely why our cooling barely uses any.

My assumption? Monday’s news has become “old news”. Rate of new buyers basically returning to where it was last week, which is low. Likely dilution, profit taking, etc. Volume steadily decreasing. Chart still says that selling ain’t the worst idea. $IREN

$IREN needs the Horizon news announcement to push through 21EMA $42s and volume shelf heavy support turned resistance at $45-$49. No new catalysts? Expect a retest a $38/$39 by end of week. Yes, long-term is very positive. Climbing into $50s? Gonna take time to climb.

I go back and forth between “neoclouds look so cheap” and “these business models are ticking time bombs” pretty much daily.

$IREN Frans Bakker is once again giving the impression that he knows more than the market. This isn’t the first time he has dangled a carrot in front of his subscribers by implying that he has access to information others don’t. Now he justifies his sudden shift from “nobody knows the strategy” to “the strategy is crystal clear” by referring to private conversations with IR, speakers and pre-IPO investors. If this is not simply another carrot designed to create the impression of an informational advantage, why doesn’t he clearly explain what he learned that suddenly made the strategy so obvious? And if the information is genuinely material and unavailable to the wider market, that raises an entirely different question: why should Frans have access to it in a publicly listed company? Either he can explain the public information and reasoning behind his dramatic change of opinion, or he is once again suggesting that he knows something he cannot tell the rest of us. 🤨

@LandoInvests @IREN_Ltd Additionally, I am sick of all the top talent hiring they are doing. I have worked at small companies, hire the IBM, E&Y, etc. Overpay, and they realize it is a small operation. Equates to heavy lifting, which was done earlier in their career. Are they up for it? Who knows.

@MSwordsman2ax @IREN_Ltd I get where you’re coming from but I’m not overly concerned with the timing. Rates have only improved, demand continues to be unprecedented, and price is driving a lot of emotion right now. I’m still long
