The GOP-controlled State Senate passed a bill extending postpartum Medicaid coverage for new moms from 60 days to 12 months (joining 48 other states that have already done this). It has the support of many (if not most) Assembly *Republicans* (and all Dems), and it is being blocked in the Assembly by Speaker Robin Vos, who did this today.

Stupidest way to run a country right here. This completely disregards the work done by good Americans trying to feed their families and do their jobs. I guess we should expect nothing less of a billionaire who doesn't value actual work done by actual people.

Trying desperately to avoid coming up with policies supported by a majority of people. Instead of cockamamy trade ideas the GOP could actually work to show they have policies that will help people get ahead. It’s clear that trickle down doesn’t work, time to let it die.
