Noticed this tiny cup-shaped fungus on Myriocoleopsis minutissima. I assume it's some sort of ascomycete.
Anyone got an idea? Perhaps @ilichenmoss ?

The weirdest part is that this looks exactly like how your mind would solve it, instead of representing some alien and unrelatable algorithmic approach.

It's so strange that this in Denmark perfectly ordinary, even mundane woodland critter, which is a common feature of our suburban yards and parks, is in Britain a major conservation crisis commanding loud cries for reforestation and rewilding to save them.
Rewild Scotland 🏴🌳@RewildScotland
Red Squirrel wiped out in East Lothian Scotland. Lack of woodland and non-native grey squirrels the major drivers.

From Reddit UK legal advice today Ofcom are continuing to make complete fools of themselves. They won't get people with small sites overseas complying with their ridiculous demands of ID verification.
It's likely they will look to start IP blocking hundreds, or maybe even thousands of overseas sites.

Happiness is... 3 days checking pollinator samples at @UK_CEH Wallingford. So many brainboxes and bright young things there. Sadly I don't fit into either category but I am good at identifying bees and hoverflies.
