🚫TRENTON DEMOCRATS BAN NJ VOTER ID I don’t even know where to begin with the audacity of this “Voter Empowerment Act.” That's NOT what it does. This is judicial activism on steroids. THE REAL INTENT: It BANS VOTER ID requirements by labeling them "discriminatory", which is a CROCK. Every developed nation and multiple U.S. states require voter ID. The courts already decided for us that voter ID is NOT discriminatory. This is a bill hellbent on controlling elections and taking away the will of the people. It creates an entirely new Division of Voting Rights inside Treasury, led by a politically appointed lawyer with sweeping authority over elections across this state. This appointed lawyer is empowered to step in, override local decisions, and dictate how elections are run. Then it gets worse... This bill allows the state to pre-clear and effectively veto local election policies in municipalities based on alleged violations going back 30 years. THIRTY YEARS. Entire towns can be put under state control, forced to prove that any change they make won’t have a so-called “disparate impact.” If a town doesn’t comply, anyone can sue. The state can intervene, municipalities can be fined, and courts are instructed to interpret the law in a way that expands access at all costs with - get this- unlimited remedies. UNLIMITED. So now elections in New Jersey are no longer governed by clear, uniform rules. They are governed by litigation, by activists, and by judges. Trenton Democrats are centralizing election power in Trenton, stripping authority from local boards of elections, and handing it to unelected officials and the court system. And for what? We’re told this is needed to "combat voter suppression." WHERE? NJ consistently has high voter turnout across all demographics. That’s not my opinion, that’s in the data. So what problem are we solving? This garbage opens the door to endless lawsuits, shifting standards & politically-driven enforcement of election laws. This doesn't "empower voters." This is about empowering government on the Democrat side of the aisle. The bill isn't worth the paper it's printed on & it makes me embarrassed to even face the public and ask them to vote. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.

People need to chill. This man dedicates so much of himself to this cause and goes to such great lengths to provide an easy way to experience these historic events nearly first-hand while also offering a wealth of information along the way. As a side note: I totally get why you verbalized your wish to see it in person and weren't afraid to give us some authentic human emotion. I’m going to be honest. This entire thread is the thing I like least about my job. CLEARLY my motivation for a scrub was selfish in that I wanted to be there and felt like I was missing out on something I (and you all) have waited 7 months for. I also was being realistic about the odds of it going off on the first attempt. I was trying to temp expectations to help ease everyone (including myself) in the event of a scrub. That’s the reasonable thing to do as opposed to hype people up for a “certain” launch. I was keeping track of their timelines and given hold capabilities to try and gauge along with everyone if it would launch, again, a reasonable thing to do. I talked over Nikki Manaj because it had nothing to do with the mission as I do when there’s anything that’s a random tangent in any stream as we always do. Gave her a chance to speak, was surprised and confused to see her, thought it was funny, then didn’t think we needed to hear her asking when it was launching 🤷‍♂️ We’ve ALWAYS shared our footage with anyone who asks and especially our fellow creators. Ask anyone, @NASASpaceflight @CSI_Starbase @MarcusHouse @FelixSchlang Obviously I don’t just do this for money or else I wouldn’t spend 7 months on a video or every dime on a production trailer. At 4 am this morning, as I laid in a deep slumber, I was called to action by my wife who had discovered a spider the size of a half dollar in the bathroom. Without hesitation I arose to combat the intruder. Claire handed me the slant board I’ve been using for rehab, and I immediately knew the spider had no chance. Imagine telling members of the public testifying AGAINST granting immunity protections to providers performing medical procedures on minors re: gender dysphoria that they are not permitted to discuss the medical procedures themselves, youth gender dysphoria, or what the bill is actually shielding providers from??? That is ABSURD. Meanwhile, the activists & cheerleaders on the other side were given free rein. I’ll say this again because apparently it needs repeating: in committee, I have NEVER had a committee chair shut me down while discussing multiple aspects, implications, arguments, or approaches related to legislation before the committee. Not once. And on the Assembly floor, the ONE AND ONLY time @SpeakerCoughlin ever redirected me was when I went entirely into something COMPLETELY unrelated to the bill on the floor. That is exactly how it should work. WHY IS THIS NOT THE EXPECTED NORM? Debate the bill. Argue the bill. Fight over the bill. Challenge testimony. Let people speak on the implications and consequences of the legislation! What we are watching now is something entirely different & it's bleeding directly into public testimony. More and more, if your viewpoint cuts against the progressive narrative the Majority wants protected, the mic gets cut off, the interruptions start & the rules become selectively enforced.
