Just some post twitch rivals musings.. (aka boring long post) First, I want to explain what I did during @playrust Rivals, since a lot of people think I was just the "builder" or just "the sorting guy": - I designed and built the main base - I built the farm base - I did genetics for the farm base ^ a 2 hour leash to go home and clone/harvest/replant - I automated and handled all electricity for both bases - I created 6 workbenches worth of factories - I regularly had to make sure no boxes were clogging - I set up the bed rooms - I mixed GP & teas hundreds of times - I assisted the camper boys emptying/kitting out the campers when they'd bring them home - I had to defend (lose) like 6 or 7 raids solo then spend time sealing and repairing + Still run out and help with events + Still managed to RP and goof around with other teams I was almost always last one on, and probably had the most uptime on the server of my entire team. This is simply to explain how insanely overworked I was, I'm not saying any of this to complain. I enjoyed every minute of it. I've been watching VODs from other teams POVs of fights and events and I can hardly believe how different the vibes between our team vs other teams were. When we'd lose fights (barely) the worst we had was silence, but I don't think we ever a single time had rage AFK's, nobody disappeared to avoid farming, nobody fought about IGL calls (at worst we had "what we could have done better"s). We fucked around and kicked ass, and I would gladly take on ALL the jobs nobody wants to do for these guys any time. I want to wrap up things by thanking @Mendo for putting a great team together and gathering the right people for the job even though he clearly stacked our team by recruiting a ton of people that don't play Rust. @Picco_re for being the demon in the sky, even when he wasn't the one in the heli people were too scared to contest us because of him. @Farmerlucas_ for just getting it done. PVP, farming, grinding, card running, for doing everything that needs to be done. @ChapFN for getting all the cars. No seriously, ALL THE CARS. Even after team @welyn raided our garage and stole/broke like 6 cars, we still had like 9 more thanks to this guy. Insane. @deathwingua for fragging out. No seriously, I don't have a deeper thanks to give, this guy killed so many people and still found hours to do only up lol @AyeeTrain & @OctZhang7 for both slaying it out on the front lines. MULTIPLE occasions I can remember each of you saving my life on the front lines, would gladly shield for you guys any time. @SlightlyPoeticc for showing up. You put the hours into the last couple days when it mattered the most. @gorillaloots for silently grinding. He was also one of the guys who was up late, on often, and always being active. @kidvoet for listening. This guy got the first gold star for the team! @Chelb for farming and rage baiting and camper duty. this guy gets made fun of, but he's a huge asset to the team. @Swizz for handling setting up the cars, campers, driving them, shooting down helis, yelling at people to get out of base, and of course for trying to sell our purple card. @AimBizzle for not only being my shield brother, but also being our other ace pilot. I'm glad you didn't get stuck on farm duty because you were so effective on the front lines (except for that one time... with the auto turret...) @Poach for killing it. I think you had the highest KDR on the team, and I really liked how well you communicated things. If you were giving comms, even though I was in the base, I felt like I knew exactly what was going on. GG's boys I hope you all get caught up on sleep.
