It’s pretty clear we need to go back to the well of draft and trading to elevate our competitiveness. Our delist pile will be large, but we need to improve our ‘bottom six’. And we need to do that quite cheaply. Time to look at what bargains are out there. Think there’s a few.

@StKFootball Forwards were all downhill skiers. Nas and Hilly followed up a great month of football each with some of the most selfish football we’ve seen. Both need a spray. Bottom 6 so far off the pace. Should have 5+ changes next week but it’s Ross, so won’t happen.

The humiliation of this resounding defeat will live long in the memories. Not often lost for words, but this performance marks a real low point of the season. We slump to 8-10, dropping a game we just had to win. Kangaroos could even get us next week. Your thoughts below 👇

@alkaiuf_ Think we need a secondary that can play alongside king. As much as I hate to say it because he’s a good bloke, it’s becoming abundantly clear Sharman isn’t it. He’s better off being our next in line depth key forward

Saints fans are obsessed with recruiting a key forward but it's tough when they have to either: A) play alongside King (can ruck or apply fwd pressure) B) be willing to play 2s when King is fit Ben King is not the answer as romantic it would be. Draft is the only way IMO
