@Mr_Andrew_Fox Couldn't agree more, plenty of times I've received work related crap out of working hours and refrained from relaying it until FP. Did the world end.... nope. Same when we used to read orders at 1700 n work at 0800 That being said I'm a culprit for crap bants on a group chat!

@OleSuperSub @JamesPPettitt @Mr_Andrew_Fox It's a funny one. I've got a lot of respect for Andrew. What he's done during his service and what he continues to do supporting refugees etc are commendable. I do however feel he's out of touch and petulant with his stance and engagement on this subject.

@NatashaMDay I've said for years that MPs should earn the minimum wage, the one which they say is sufficient for people to survive off. Surely we want people to thrive, not merely survive. Cost of living isn't the only thing going up, Maps wages and expenses will rise in line with it.

@dean1wg @MattTubaMan Thinking about it, a badge as a means of recognition seems inadequate. You are entrusted to provide world class music at some of the biggest military and state events in the country. Surely that is recognition of the highest order?

@dean1wg @MattTubaMan Your logic applies to many of the courses you have chosen to include, very rarely do people tip on P Coy, AACC, PTI course without weeks / months years of preparation/ professional development. Musicians are incredibly talented, but do you need a badge to signify that?

Throw back to a few weeks ago as Sgt Lawrence, formally @RAnglians Transferred into the RAPTC. We first met in Lashkar Gah in 2013 and he really did stand out as being outstanding. It was no surprise to me that he was recognised as the top student of the course.

@JamesHFBlair @InfantryComdSM @BritishArmy I would suggest that upto 1 year service, educate and rehabilitation. Ensuring they foot the full bill for cost of testing. Any further into service there is no excuse, in particular for commanders / NCO / SNCO. Officers, straight discharge.

Wonder how many I’ve done over the last 26 years?? My view,we shouldn’t discharge failures, circa 650 discharged yearly. Should we use discipline, time being corrected and educated in MCTC? A deterrent, educate and retain. Thoughts ?? @InfantryComdSM @BritishArmy
