A million necklines, and this is the one? -love the lace and the skirt style. -the veil over the face is too much. She could have had a veil going over the back of her head if she HAD to have one. -cream or ivory is ok too. A 45 year old second time bride with a teenaged daughter doesn’t necessarily need white. At least it wasn’t blinding white, but still. I don’t care if she was “looking for the cameras”, the photogs were literally calling her name. I don’t have any strong feelings about Harriet Sperling-she’s marrying a low ranking untitled Royal so in the grand scheme of things she’s not going to have that great of an impact. If only prayer translated into support for women and parents who feel and see nothing but a future of pain and darkness. You live in a vacuum of self righteousness where empathy and compassion stop when you think people see a choice for themselves. You’re so disconnected from the struggles facing people with serious trauma and fear. There isn’t a both sides to this question of morality, but there is a way of actually treating each case individually without trying to apply universal rules. Every circumstance is different. Demonising the parents doesn’t have to byproduct of evangelising the unborn child.

I’ve had a very difficult time just reading about the couple who aborted their Down’s syndrome child. It’s maybe the worst thing I’ve ever seen on social media - and that’s really saying something. It has made me feel physically sick for days now. I prayed for that baby’s soul last night… that child deserved so much and had a beautiful future ahead. They deserved birth, joy, family, love, - everything the child would have given to the world if they had not been brutally murdered. My mother was a special needs teacher before meeting my father and one thing she always showed me was how much people with special needs contribute to the world and brighten life. Anyone who has ever met anyone with Down’s syndrome knows how wonderful they are - a true gift in this world. Please join me in continuing to pray for that baby with me tonight. As for the parents… May God have mercy on their dark, wretched, demonic souls. I can only think of that Shakespeare quote - “Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.”

We thank God for our sweet grandson and the incredible blessing he is to our family. Born with Down syndrome, he reminds us daily that every life has inherent value, purpose, and dignity. We are also grateful for his 17-year-old birth mother, who chose life.

My grandma on my mom's side, before she died, was taking care of a person with down syndrome. Did they smile a lot? Sure. Did they have childlike innocence? Yeah. You know what else? When given a pizza to eat at the age of 30, they struggled to get it into their mouths. They ended up covered in sauce, flailing the pizza around with a imbecilic look on their face. Then, a few years later, they died. Because life expectancy for them is short (although, science had figures out ways to make it longer for some reason). When I hear this debate, all I think about is the indignity of watching this 30-year-old toddler in an adult body, slamming pizza against their face because they can't figure out where their fucking mouth is.
