@_CoachMathias @BarclayCard18 He did bring so much spunk, creativity and lighthearted disruption at the start, but eventually he just got standoffish and unproductive and the fans simply moved on. I think he could have brought a lot more but he knocked his own trajectory off course. It’s too bad!

Listen, did he try his best throughout his career? No. But did he at least train hard? Also no. But was he a nice guy? Nope. But was he good for tennis? Not really. But did his fellow tennis players respect him? Not particularly. But will he be missed when he retires? No.

@rose_jlab This recently happened to me with the periodontist where I had to confirm my appointment many, many times through every possible channel, and then THEY cancelled on ME! TWICE!

i don't think the dentist should text and email me a week before my appointment asking to confirm it and then text, email, and call me again two days before it to confirm it again

In demanding that veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces not wear their uniforms while observing Remembrance Day, the leaders at this school are disgracing themselves while demeaning the people who protect our country. Remembrance Day is a day on which we honour those who serve and remember those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. Our veterans were never ashamed to wear their uniforms while protecting Canada and they should never be made to feel ashamed to wear their uniforms today.  If the people behind this decision had a shred of the courage that our veterans have, this cowardly and insulting idea would have been rejected immediately. In the Nova Scotia and Canada I know, our veterans will never be asked to hide who they are. Saying Lest We Forget is a solemn promise to the fallen, our veterans and those who continue to serve that we will pass our respect and gratitude to the next generation.  The decision makers at Sackville Heights Elementary School have forgotten this sacred obligation.

@TastyKeish She’d already made it thru TWO rounds of Olympics b-dancing and did well! - the snippet you saw was from round 3 - she knew she couldn’t win as her opponent was THAT good so she had fun with it. B-dancing isnt judged like gymnastics or skateboarding - points per trick, etc

So the breakdance lady from Austria(lia?) was doing a social experiment talking about yt access to breaking and social hierarchy, etc. She wrote a paper about it, somehow she made it through to the Olympics with all her nonsense. Which shows that she was playing in our faces.

@MadiOkay @bogudzieki @JamtsUsukhbayar Sorry. I guess almost all Poles are tired by now. We almost always get compared to the Russians. Writing our surnames in the "more russian" form just makes it blend even more. Futhermore, our words often lack tittles in th foreign media. for example it's Iga Świątek not Swiatek..

@bogudzieki @eKIVIw @JamtsUsukhbayar Sure, I do understand; people mispronounce and misspell my last name all the time. It was clear the guy didn’t mean any disrespect; he was just pointing out a fun tidbit only to be met with eye roll emoji, which seemed weirdly unnecessary. But such is twitter!

@MadiOkay @eKIVIw @JamtsUsukhbayar but her name isn't svoboda, it's swoboda, so respect that. you don't change someone's name due to different spelling in another language. we don't use the letter V in polish. hope this helps
