Career announcement: With the start of a new year I’m pleased to say I’m switching from traditional A5 notepads to A4 for my court #shorthand notes. This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly but after balancing the aggravating and mitigating factors, I’m sure it’s the right move.

I love transporting trees on public transport. It’s good to move this fig to its new home without using a car & also lovely watching people’s intrigued & amused reactions to seeing something incongruously natural & alive in a public space normally denuded of nature.
