Speaking of Crater of Diamonds State Park, the largest diamond ever found was a 40.23-carat diamond in 1924. This massive white diamond was the largest ever found in the United States and is now part of the Smithsonian's collection. Has anyone ever been to this diamond park? Check out the top 10 diamonds discovered at this park since 1924, granted, the color and clarity may not be the best for some but #1 is pretty huge and clean. In 2015, a Colorado woman named Bobbie Oskarson was visiting the same Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. While walking through the field, she spotted something shiny on the ground. Without digging much, she picked it up and realized it was a huge 8.52-carat white diamond. It was so big and perfect that the park staff said it was the fifth-largest diamond ever found there since the park opened to the public. She later named it the "Esperanza Diamond."
