How can Andy Burnham be mentioned as the next PM when he's not even an MP. More Labour Party rule manipulation??

Are people finding that they don’t eat out as much nowadays? It’s not only the cost but also I feel you are not getting value for money anymore for pretty average food. I’m cooking more from scratch nowadays at home & try & avoid processed food.

🚨 This is two-tier “justice” in 2026 Britain laid bare for the entire nation to see — and it’s an absolute national disgrace. Back in July 2024 at Manchester Airport’s Starbucks, Mohammed Fahir Amaaz headbutted an innocent customer like it was nothing. When police arrived to do their job, he and his brother Muhammad Amaad turned into animals — kicking seven shades of shit out of two female officers before launching a savage, unprovoked attack on PC Zachary Marsden. It’s all there in crystal-clear CCTV. At 36 seconds into the footage you can watch one of the brothers creep up from behind and drag the officer to the floor. No ambiguity. No “he said, she said.” Just raw, thuggish violence against the people we pay to protect us. Yet here we are — jury deliberations dragging on for TWO FULL DAYS on an open-and-shut case. Two days of “alleged” this and “context” that while the evidence screams guilty from every pixel. The question everyone is asking — and the one the establishment doesn’t want answered — is simple: how many Pakistani Muslims are sitting on that jury? Because in two-tier Britain, the rules bend when the perpetrators come from the “right” community. Starmer’s Labour government has spent years prioritising “community relations” over actual justice, turning our courts into a lottery where native Brits and our emergency services always lose. These brothers aren’t victims. They’re predators who thought they could treat British police like third-world street thugs — and the system is bending over backwards to give them every possible out. While patriotic Brits get dragged through the courts for tweets or peaceful protests, violent offenders from imported communities get kid-glove treatment, endless delays and juries apparently paralysed by “diversity.” This isn’t isolated. It’s the pattern: grooming gangs protected for years, Islamist mobs given free rein to scream at the King, and now police officers beaten on camera while the verdict hangs in the balance. Female officers — the very ones we’re told to celebrate in the name of “equality” — left battered because the state refuses to protect its own. The silent majority has had enough of this dangerous farce. We demand: ✅ Immediate guilty verdicts and maximum sentences for anyone who assaults emergency workers — no more excuses, no more “cultural context.” ✅ Jury reform so justice isn’t held hostage by demographic bias. ✅ Mass deportations for these brothers and anyone else who comes here only to spit on our laws and our people. ✅ An end to two-tier policing and two-tier courts under Starmer’s failing regime. If these brothers walk or get a slap on the wrist, the message to every thug on these islands will be crystal clear: attack British police and the system will protect you. Enough is enough. Protect our officers. Deliver real justice. Restore Britain before it’s too late. 🇬🇧 #TwoTierJustice #ManchesterAirportAttack #ProtectOurPolice #RestoreBritain #DeportNow #BritainFirst #StarmerOut #NoMoreTwoTier

Her name is Mapal (25) and his name is Roei (30). They were a couple at a music festival when Hamas invaded Israel on October 7th. Then, Hamas attacked. “Girls, you don’t breathe, you don’t move," Roei told his girlfriend and her best friend Mapal as they hid from Hamas. "We play dead and hope that they pass by". "Mapal and I lay together under a car, she looked at me and told me, 'I love you Roee,' and closed her eyes." "One of the terrorists bent down, spoke to me in Arabic, and threw a block at me. I heard a volley of gunfire and felt a bullet in my back. Mapali was hit with one bullet and Hilly with two." "I realized that I had to make them think I was dead. I took Mapali’s blood and spread it all over myself. I closed my eyes, again someone threw a rock at me, and then shot" Hilly did not survive. Neither did her friend Mapal, the girl in this photo. And while Roi survived the initial attack, including being shot twice, he took his life in 2015. Over 1,200 people died on October 7th🎗️

Andy Burnham
Andy Burnham@AndyBurnhamGM·
I can confirm that I will be requesting the permission of the NEC to stand in the Makerfield by-election. I grew up in this area and have lived here for 25 years. I care deeply about it and its people. I know they have been let down by national politics. Ten years ago, I decided to leave Westminster. Why? Because, after 16 years, I came to the conclusion that our national political system does not work for areas like ours. I learnt this fighting its failure to invest in the Wigan borough, for justice for the Hillsborough families and against its treatment of Greater Manchester during the pandemic. Over the last decade, I have been challenging this failure from the outside and building a new and better way of doing politics. We have built Greater Manchester into the fastest-growing city-region in the UK and put buses back under public control, introducing a £2 fare cap to help people with cost-of-living pressures. However, there is only so much that can be done from Greater Manchester. Much bigger change is needed at a national level if everyday life is to be made more affordable again. This is why I now seek people’s support to return to Parliament: to bring the change we have brought to Greater Manchester to the whole of the UK and make politics work properly for people. Millions are struggling and they need the Labour Government to succeed. It has already made changes to make life better for them in its first two years. After this week, we owe it to people to come back together as a Labour movement, giving the Prime Minister and the Government the space and stability they need as the by-election takes place. I want to recognise the difficult decision taken by Josh Simons and the sacrifice he and his family are making. I have worked closely with him as Mayor on issues like flooding and illegal waste dumping and have seen first-hand how effective he has been. He has put the communities of Makerfield first, made a real difference for them and should take great pride in that. Finally, I truly do not take a single vote for granted and will work hard to regain the trust of people in the Makerfield constituency, many of whom have long supported our party but lost faith in recent times. We will change Labour for the better and make it a party you can believe in again. ENDS

Ruud Gullit: "Everyone was trying to kick Maradona out of the game. Once they succeeded. With the current rules, the cameras, the protection that exists for the player, he would be unstoppable. No one could stop him. Diego has been the best player I've ever seen in my life."
