@loverperc ugh same, as a forever us hater i decided to interpret those as "the us is the *current most powerful and influential nation so the gods moved here" but there's nothing civilized about them just like there was nothing civilized about rome bc there's no such thing as ~civilized~

was just talking about this but i always felt weird reading pjo when all the lines about how the west is obviously more civilized would come up, they always took me out of the mood, i don’t mind the mythical world being in the US i just don’t think all those lines were necessary

@SynthPotato From a story perspective Rogue has to be my favorite. I wish I still had it but for an English essay years ago I wrote a character analysis on Shay through the lens of a Lucifer/fallen-angel archetype. What a game, absolute cinema

Been replaying Assassin’s Creed Rogue and the game is still good fun, very underrated to this day.
But that main theme might be the best OST of the entire franchise.
Combining Ezio’s theme with Kenway music to signify the end of the classic AC era was a beautiful choice.
