@valleyfield2008 @Case_IH @HergottFE We did the same thing moving from S780's to X9's. In the transition year we still had the One S780. Fuel efficiency was substantially better which was awesome. My biggest ask was improved capacity in canola and this was much better as well. Assuming you saw similar?

New girl showed upped this week.3 months ahead of schedule.Her sister showing up soon also.4 for 3. Hopefully less fuel per acre and one less man.Less service time in mornings.We had one last year and was awesome. 40 percent bigger avg. But comes with a cost. @Case_IH @HergottFE

@lamps_apple Canadian also. Story my wife likes to tell is when I got hives in Florida and my throat swelled up and it felt like I couldn't breathe. Went to a children's hospital because it was closest. Looked like a Vegas casino, was treated immediately and given a lollipop. 5 stars!!

@stinkynutss I would bet the CR11 is a fantastic machine. I think the only thing that could tip the scales in JD favour would be the header, perhaps the GPS.

Got about 4000 acres in a 2025 John Deere X9 this harvest and it is the best all round combine on the market tip to tail. I followed the maintenance & break-in guide to a tee, customized everything the way I wanted it, adjusted my header setting for my topography and stuffed the machine full all year, ran it as hard as I possibly could while keeping loses under control. I even went full tilt into washouts just to see if the header could adjust in time, and it did every single time. You know what I repaired this year? 4 knives & 3 guards- sure it’s still $11,000 but my downtime was literally nothing. The only real issue I had was with the Activeyield attaining peak accuracy after about 100 loads and then going off the reservation until I had to reset it. Deere did a phenomenal job of this machine. If you end up buying Combine 12 next harvest, you have yourself a beauty machine.

@MakersCraftMalt Who are you with ? How old was the combine? What pisses me if is that they have it listed with RC for the first few years from new so you automatically think it's replacement cost.

So apparently when you have a newer piece of machinery and it's listed as replacement value on your insurance policy, it doesn't mean replacement value even though it's a total loss. 🤬🤯

So a bit of an update on AF11. We have 160 thrashing hours on it. Haven’t had a real call out for a mechanic yet. But do have a very slight leak on a gearbox. So on capacity I would say 40 percent increase over 9250.Less than that in the logged stuff. Automation seems really good

Was on a video call from the combine tonight with buyers in Japan as their product came off the field. They mentioned they were excited to meet @PremierScottMoe tomorrow at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo. Reminded me of my visit there in May! @wkaeding

@DylanWiebe45 We've got a trial with Westking, Brandon, Hodge, Hockeley. Will be interesting to see if anything can dethrone Brandon.

Making good progress through the cereals this week, a few take aways so far: AAC Westking CWRS wheat is a 🚀 High seed rate trial on SY Manness, still stood well and added 3 bu/ac. Miravis Ace has shown a yield increase over Prosaro Pro but also demands more patience.
