@ScottPresler ROFLMAO, GOP got all three branches and the country IMMEDIATELY got worse in every way and continues to get worse without any outside help. No pandemic, no outside aggressors dragging us into war, no global trade wars, just GOP fuck ups creating all those problems on their own.

Let’s Have Real Talk: Voters gave Republicans all 3 branches of gov’t in 2024. The house is doing its job. President Trump is doing his job. The Senate is sitting on legislation. If the Senate does not get serious about passing legislation, it will be retiring dozens of House members this November. Pass the SAVE America Act!

@GiaMMacool Sometimes everyone agrees because facts are things that exist. If we keep up this idea that everyone’s opinion matters as much as facts we, as a nation, will continue our descent into chaos and failure.

Group thinking punishes truth. If everyone agrees with you, you’re probably just part of the herd. Strength is being willing to stand alone.

Independent check on the AI jobs radar everyone’s sharing. @Grok pulled fresh 2025 data McKinsey, Gallup, PwC & independent studies (zero Anthropic/Claude) & built this version: Blue = % of tasks AI *could* theoretically handle today Red = % it’s *actually* used for day-to-day Huge gaps = real runway to upskill. No mass layoffs in exposed jobs yet, but entry-level hiring is already shifting. Companies want AI-fluent talent. Time to get ahead. What field are you in? 👇 #AI #FutureOfWork #Upskill

Anthropic just released the most IMPORTANT chart in the AI labor debate. This comes from the company that builds Claude using data from 2 million real conversations. Here’s what it shows. The blue area is every task AI could theoretically do right now. The red area is what people are actually using it for. The gap between them is enormous and that gap is your career runway. Computer programmers are already 75% covered. Customer service reps, data entry workers, financial analysts, they’re next. But here’s what no one is talking about. The mass layoffs haven’t really started. Unemployment for exposed workers hasn’t budged. So what’s actually happening? Companies are closing the front door, hiring for workers aged 22 to 25 in AI exposed jobs has dropped 14%. The most exposed workers aren’t factory workers, they’re college educated, higher earning. 49% of US jobs now have at least a quarter of their tasks inside AI’s reach. That’s up from 36% just one year ago. And the red area on that chart, the real world usage is still a fraction of what’s possible. Every month, it grows a bit. Anthropic built the scoreboard and most people haven’t looked at it yet.

@throwaway_03 @MilkRoadAI The uneducated and uninformed response is that it’s fine if AI runs the world? Until working class wages drop significantly as a result because unemployment surges and no one can afford things.

@CornFlakes604 This didn’t age well. Enjoy those gas prices now! A whole six weeks of cheap(er than it had been) gas…. Now it’s all skyrocketing while the cooked jobs report STILL shows 92,000 job loss and 4.4% unemployment while Trump fans the flames of WWIII…

Man, the ONE THING Trump had going for him in the Affordability conversation was that gas prices have come down. So what did he do? Cut off Venezuelan oil which will drive prices up. This is one of the only times you can blame the President for gas prices.

@Brewpubpolitics @billmaher Thoughts and prayers mean nothing while they slashed VA benefits and tried to deny first responders help affording healthcare. Standing at a ceremony means nothing if they turn around and cause more suffering for the people being “honored.” Just GOP performative bullshit.

@billmaher Except the Democrats don't stand for people who have gone through great suffering. Show me just one time a Republican didn't stand for a person being recognized for an act of courage. One. Just. One.

@billmaher Why would you clap for intentionally factually incorrect information being used to undermine any chance of actually achieving anything? Why would you clap for a president who brazenly lies to Congress and demonizes them while he does it? You’re a sell out.

There’s a lesson here. Eileen Gu is objectively beautiful, a model, and has used it to her advantage. She seems cool and calculated, isn’t anything to her advantage. Alyssa Liu reminds me more of the cute girl who sat behind me in Algebra class. But men are fawning over Alyssa because she’s genuine and real. Joyful. Approachable. Lovely. Eileen wouldn’t look at most of us unless we were rich and handsome. And if she did, we’d wonder what she REALLY wanted. Alyssa would giggle at our jokes. Yes, I know winning makes everyone look better, but these women are both winners. Alyssa is more cute than gorgeous, but she is insanely attractive to men precisely because she seems real and joyous. Ladies, men care about how a woman makes them feel and how real she is, and they’ll avoid even a gorgeous model for the woman who is unapologetically herself. It’s most important to be attractive, not gorgeous. And Christians? The joy of the Lord is palpable to a godly man.

🚨THIS GOES FOR EVERY PERSON THAT WILL NOT ATTEND THE 🇺🇸STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS🇺🇸 Refusing to attend the State of the Union is not “resistance.” It is institutional contempt. The State of the Union is not a campaign rally. It is not a fundraiser. It is not a party convention. It is a constitutional obligation under Article II, Section 3. The President reports to Congress. Congress represents the people. All of the people. When elected officials boycott that address, they are not snubbing a man. They are signaling disdain for the office. They are signaling disregard for procedure. They are signaling indifference toward the citizens who voted differently than they did. More than half the country voted one way. The other half voted another. The State of the Union is one of the few remaining civic rituals where all branches assemble under one roof. It symbolizes continuity of government. It symbolizes peaceful transfer of power. It symbolizes unity under law even when policy divides us. Skipping it is not bravery. It is performative tribalism. If you were elected to represent your district, your job is to show up. Show up. Listen. Disagree afterward if you must. Debate on substance. But absence communicates something else entirely. It communicates: “I do not recognize the legitimacy of this administration.” That is a dangerous precedent in a constitutional republic. If Republicans had done this under a Democrat President, the media would frame it as anti-democratic sabotage. Consistency matters. Disagreement is healthy. Boycott as branding is not leadership. Public office requires maturity. Not social media theater. If you want to amplify it even further, add this closing line: If you can’t sit in a chamber for one hour and listen to a President you oppose, you are not ready to govern a divided nation. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

@Malthus86 @RealXBailey @HuffPost HuffPo is a shell of it's former self and just had layoffs and their chief editor resign. WaPo, Vice, Buzzfeed, and others are showing us what their "leadership" looks like, and it's not very impressive. Fact is the market doesnt want what these "leaders" are selling
