Of course either could go wrong but I would say the same if it was Enrique it any other manager. There is no guarantee with any of them. We just have to give Carrick the best possible chance by investing in the club. If it doesn't work then at least the squad will be better for the next manager.

I know it's easy to write off a lot of players from yesterday's game, but most of them haven't been playing. They have either gotten very limited minutes, been injured, or just haven't been favored by the manager.
A few weeks ago, people were saying Zirkzee should stay as cover, but now it's clear he needs to leave immediately.
I'm not against them being sold and properly replaced, but I think the context of the game should be considered.

He’s a much better player than those, who’s just had a few poor months and is lacking confidence. He was doing so well at AFCON, and I believe he will be good again next season!

Maybe just maybe Amad was doing well as a wingback.
