I like the idea of Diomande but I’m wary of spending £80m+ players again this summer. I know that that’s what the market is now but I really wish we could find untapped gems around the £50m or less mark and turn them into superstars, like Edwards did back in the early days.

I don’t like that Salah statement. He’s essentially calling out the new signings from last summer. He’s saying that Isak, Wirtz and Frimpong weren’t the right type of player to join LFC. Because there’s no way he can criticise Ekitike’s contributions and Kerkez’s style of football is 100% Heavy Metal intensity.

@Watch_LFC You actually may have a point... I saw this pattern last season already, but then again if the players are different and it's not working then either he should change or the manager should and clearly he ain't changing... So your defence of slot is actually a reason for him to go

The only thing that changed about our style of play since last season is quite simply the players we have. If you genuinely think that Slot is instructing our players do not press or to build up slowly or to do anything significantly different to what he was telling them to do last season you’re a bit too far gone down a rabbit hole of irrational anger.

Do people genuinely think Slot changed his entire principles of football this season? Like he woke up after winning the league and thought “actually I want to play a completely different way next season”?

@Watch_LFC Why should he of been complaining? And why are you going after Salah like this and backing slot who is clearly out of his depth... Slot answer is next season we will be better and his main reason for that is because we will sign players.. not his management skills but the players

Salah wasn’t complaining about “style of play” last season. When you’re winning everything is great, when you’re losing everything is a problem.

Tonight summed up why so few Liverpool fans believe Arne Slot can fix this. Yes, this side is short in attack and signings will help, but they won't sort a midfield and defence that have been shambolic all season. So, without a change of head coach, how does it get better?

Salah had 3GA in 3 months before Slot dropped him and he threw a tantrum... should he have kept playing an ineffective player and hurting the team overall? 😂 Got it. Begged him all season to drop poorly performing players but when it's Salah there's an issue. Right.
