If anyone in the Norwich area know of any lovely ladies (or gentlemen) who are able to knit some blankets for our NICU babies at NNUH, we are in desperate need 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The patterns we use are below.
Thank you!

@SaaS_Veritas @NatureUnedited Same, we had one when I was a teen. Short, sharp 10 second run and he’d have to sleep it off for a solid 4 hours.
English

@NatureUnedited Then immediately went home and slept for 23 solid hours.
You greyhound owners know what I'm talking about. Despite their public persona, they're the only dogs I know that you need to dust.

@CultureExploreX @JamesLucasIT Plus they throw broken things out of the window at midnight. Like fridges, tvs etc. You have to keep your wits about you.

This was midnight in Naples last night.
Fireworks explode from everywhere. Balconies. Roofs. Side streets. Not one organized show.
The whole city lights its own fuse. The noise rolls off Mount Vesuvius and back from the sea. For a few minutes, it feels like the city is on fire.
People do it every year to scare off bad luck and start fresh. No permits. No stage. Just people taking part.
It’s dangerous. People get hurt. Fires break out. Police seize illegal fireworks. And still, it happens again next year.
In Naples this is tradition. Messy, loud, and very real.
Naples doesn’t welcome the New Year quietly. It never has.

@planesanity I used to live slightly further west of Heathrow. Everyone always stopped to watch it pass overhead if they were out. For such a graceful plane, it was so loud!

This year’s #BlackHistoryMonth theme, ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’, honours the resilience, strength and lasting impact of Black communities - past, present and future.
It’s a theme that deeply resonates with the work we do every day.

@HumanFactorsPS Thank you, I really enjoyed the online version.

The 5th National Human Factors in Patient Safety Conference took place last Friday, and brought together an inter-professional audience from around the world, joining our conference both in person at RCSI and online.
The patient perspective in Human Factors, improving patient experience in the Radiology department and patient-centred simulation were among the key topics discussed highlighting the theme "People in Patient Safety" by our keynote speakers Professor Dara Byrne, Professor Tanja Manser and Dr Geoffrey Ronan.
We would like to thank everyone who attended both in-person and online, our keynote speakers, the human factors community who presented their research and the team behind the conference. See you all next year!

We have now finished with our trial of the #EmergencyAlert system
If you did not receive an alert on your mobile phone, then this was due to the fact that you are not scheduled to survive the upcoming extinction level event
Unfortunately not everyone will make it, which is obviously disappointing news for some of you, but this is a price that we are willing for you to make
This is for #TheGreaterGood

@ThreeUK I’m still waiting for my emergency government text message. Only 1 out of 3, Three customers in the house got it. Which, tbf, is better than last time.

There are 5 Gynaecological (Gynae) cancers and knowing the possible symptoms as well as being confident to talk about them could be a lifesaver and challenge the stigma that prevents so many getting help.

Three years on from his passing, we remember Bill Turnbull - a truly remarkable man.
Through his openness about #ProstateCancer, Bill inspired so many men to check their risk and get an early diagnosis. The impact of his words continues to save lives.
Thank you, Bill 💙
