Thing is, raising minimum wage would raise the price of the pretzel as well. If you think about it a lot of shitty fast food costs more than the minimum wage - literally any value meal from McDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc. 7.25 sucks, for sure, but I think the bigger problem is the cost.

The minimum wage in Pennsylvania is $7.25 an hour. A regular Auntie Anne’s soft pretzel at the mall is $7.29. Imagine telling someone an hour of their time is worth less than a pretzel.
