@Manimoewil @BenStandig @Jason_OTC Everything rolls over, it is player money that must be spent on players eventually...they didn't backload deals tho, only Tunsil's $24M dead in 2029 significant & him, Chassion & JayD the only real extension candidates

The available salary cap number for the Commanders now appears legit as deals for Paul, McNichols, Brown, etc are included. Via @Jason_OTC: 1. Titans - $63.49M 2. Commanders - $49.35M Had 2nd fewest players under contract at start of FA. Now top half of league with 71.

@BenStandig @Jason_OTC How much can we roll over? Is it everything? And if so, do we need to spend for the cap floor? I need to look at what next years space and number of players is too

@MichaelSalfino If It felt dumb it probably because it was dumb in real life and completely random to have KKK trying to terrorize you. In literally times of War with other countries that didn’t stop. So even in a fantasy world invaded by vampires it prob wouldn’t either

@MichaelSalfino Because it was a historical depiction that is relevant to a black story in rural South. Even after a near death scene against the vampires. There’s still the snap back to reality of a different kind of evil that didn’t care about what you have going on.

Sinners was fine. But Coogler seemed desperate to rise above the horror genre. The third act is dumb -- he just starts fighting the KKK why? Second act is great, but that's the horror movie. Black musicians through time really derailed the narrative.

George Washington Carver pioneered agriculture with concepts of crop rotations. He taught farmers to plant nitrogen-fixing crops such as peanuts and soybeans. However, he was making history years before when he became the first Black student at Iowa State University, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees. After, he became the first Black faculty member. His contributions to agriculture planted him on the #Forbes250 list honoring historic innovators: forbes.com/sites/alexknap… Photo: Heritage Images via Getty Images

@JakobSanderson For some reason Washington coaches didn’t value him even though he was productive whenever given a chance. This feels like a Walker vs Charbonet backfield

@JakobSanderson Wr targets are earned, rb carries are given. Coaches sought out CRod based on past experience for what he needs in his offense that he hasn’t had in TB or Jax. CRod used to be a plodder but lost 10 lbs last offseason and had his longest and most explosive runs last yr as a pro.

One angle I'd raise in direct response to Silva's line of thinking: If this staff wanted a one-dimensional but highly effective early down / BTT thumper to be their RB1... why did they trade Tank Bigsby away for peanuts? He'd still be on his rookie deal going into this season

“I think there’s no question Chris Rodriguez is going to be the lead back for the Jaguars, at least to begin the season.” @evansilva and @adamlevitan on the potential split between Rodriguez Jr. and Bhayshul Tuten:
