@ScottRoberts The superiority of the Cathedrals reflect God's dwelling place. If you are a protestant, you are not faithful to Jesus word, you were deceived and deceive others. Catholics take scripture very seriously, just go to a Mass to learn.

You can keep the cathedrals and stained glass. I'll take biblical authority and doctrinal purity any day. Truth is not measured by architecture or aesthetics, but by the Word of God. A beautiful building means nothing if it drifts from Scripture.

@oliverburdick The Pope is to be respected because it was Christ who wants us to have a Sheppard representing Him on earth. His ROLE is to guide the flock. If you ignore the Pope, you ignore Christ. Pray to Christ for the Pope to guide well. That's our responsibility.

As a Catholic, I am not happy with yet another “woke” political Pope. Hate to say it but I’m ignoring him. Until we get a Pope that isn’t political, so be it. I don’t pray to the Pope, I pray to God. @Pontifex

Even Jews know that Catholicism is true Christianity: I once had Jewish professor who was teaching a Plato course and was making a point about “Christianity.” A student raised his hand and asked “When you say Christianity, what form in particular do you mean?” The Jewish professor rolled his eyes. “By Christianity, I obviously mean Catholicism,” and then he went back to his lecture.

Those same apostles were Catholics, Catholics is just a word for Universal Christians, just like Jesus intended. For His church to spread to all corners of the world.

Just over 3 years ago, I got baptized in an evangelical church and made the difficult decision to leave an immoral relationship. If I was going to be a Christian, I was going to do it right and not be a hypocrite For the next year, I attended that church and went to Christian counseling, but I was hitting a spiritual ceiling. I knew there was more to the faith than 3 pop songs and a sermon. I just didn’t know what I was really missing. I longed for a breakthrough Then, I went with a friend to a Mass. I was blown away. I didn’t know why, but I knew God was present and moving there in an authentic way. The evangelical church I was attending felt contrived. It was just a well-choreographed product. The Mass felt REAL Now that I’ve been Catholic a couple of years, the breakthrough has been lasting and profound. The past two years have been life changing. Authenticity made the difference. I didn’t want a church that resembled the world. I wanted the Church that Christ founded I love the Catholic Church and am eternally grateful I found home

Pope Leo XIV just declared: “God does not bless any conflict.” Has he never cracked open the Bible? From Red Sea to Jericho, Amalek to Armageddon, the Lord is a warrior who commands, fights, and blesses righteous conflict against evil. God doesn’t bless surrender to barbarians. He blesses the faithful who stand. Christ is King. No surrender to woke Vatican pacifism.
