In my previous content, I've talked about some of the concerns around the developer landscape, the high burnout rates, the scope creeping, and other things. And I wish to continue writing around these concerns.

Since I love geeking out and connecting with my fellow homo-sapiens, working in DevRel is something I know I would genuinely enjoy.

Agreed. Along with these, I feel one would still need foundational coding and computer science knowledge (even more than before because systems are getting more complex). My hypothesis: What AI has done to coding is what IVRs did to call-centres. Did it wipe up the role? No. It automated the first layer. The other layers remained. So you would still need the skills from before and couple that with more skills.

I grind Leetcode every day for 2 hours. If I miss a day, I add 2 hours to the next day. This has truly been a game changer. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to grind Leetcode for 3 years.

There are three really amazing parts about the role I’m in right now: 1. I have way more time to experiment and geek out on tech 2. I have a highly supportive leader who cares about my passions and understands the family/self-first mindset 3. I can go climbing mid-day 😊
