why are people even using Hyperliquid as a reference?

At least seven people have already shown me the SK Hynix price on Hyperliquid and asked what SK Hynix will open at tomorrow… I mean, why are people even using Hyperliquid as a reference?

He probably heard how much money the Trump Family made from crypto and decided to give it a shot. From my perspective, it looks like Hunter is aligning himself with accounts for an inevitable crypto launch. You will all get rugged again.

Obviously 99% buybacks is not what I'm expecting but as of now it's just at their discretion with a "trust me bro we will share the loot later"

@haihsu93 turnover at 0.99x just means OI is sticky while spec flow cooled, not really a top signal on its own. id watch funding and whether OI bleeds with it before calling it more than a quiet weekend

Hyperliquid still has size — but not the same speed.
Total OI is holding near $5.84B, while 24h perp volume has dropped to $5.79B and Volume/OI compressed to 0.99x.
The capital is still there. The turnover is getting quieter.

@cryptolchaos the UK warning barely dents flow when most of the perp size is offshore anyway. regulators can fence retail but the desks routing real volume arent sitting in jurisdiction. law moves slower than the order book

@AntoineRSX no native trailing on HL last i checked, you fake it with a scale of TP/SL orders or run a bot that moves the stop as price climbs. the builtin trigger orders only fire at a fixed mark so they wont chase for you
