Pls Donate's core system was made in 3 days. Your game has made you a multi-millionaire while you were still in school. You were given the chance that only 1 in a million get. There are people who spend months to years on a game to make very little return. You should be grateful Roblox has allowed you to get to your current position in life. Your true colors are showing through this tweet. You are pissed at Roblox, yes. Rightfully so, they should have given you more warning. But that doesn't change the fact you are a multi-multi-millionaire because of a loophole you discovered 4 years ago. You have enough money to make the next 'grow a garden', you have enough money to fund a huge Roblox project, you have enough money for literally pretty much anything you want to make on Roblox. Since Maxwell has me blocked, I'll respond to him here. Hazem has genuinely been one of the kindest and most generous developers I’ve had the chance to work with. Even Roblox themselves have publicly recognized and praised his contributions to the community. This update didn’t just hurt one game, it effectively destroyed an entire community while also removing one of the easiest ways for players to send Robux to each other, locking it behind a $5/month paywall. Pls Donate was never just about acting as a middleman for Robux. A huge part of its appeal was the social aspect and the community built around it. For a lot of people, myself included, interacting with others was the real reason to play, not simply earning Robux. And honestly, if Hazem is losing the income he built from years of work, he absolutely has the right to be vocal and upset about it. Roblox made no effort to reach out to him or discuss possible solutions that could preserve the game’s community while still allowing players to easily support each other. And yes, if a platform removes someone’s primary source of income, I think they’re fully allowed to criticize that platform and say it sucks. Hazem himself has even said that he loved Roblox, and that these recent changes are what soured his opinion on the platform. The only person showing their true colors here is you, with the hateful attitude you’re directing toward him.

It’s genuinely sickening seeing some people wish the worst on me and be happy that my game is being killed overnight. Yes, I’m incredibly grateful for the position I’m in, but this was never just about money. It’s about watching a business I’ve built for years be damaged overnight by something completely out of my control. I would never wish this on any other developer, and I truly hope no one else on this platform has to go through the way Roblox has handled this with us.
