@TheFinalQuan Spurs are trying to become one of the biggest global sports brands in American sports. Who knows if that’s possible. But if it works, seems like it would be great for the city. Unfortunately it will probably be in ways that are hard to quantify. But worth the gamble for one game.

The older I get, the stronger I feel that Casino is a better film than Goodfellas. I think a big reason for that is Robert De Niro. De Niro is brilliant in both films but he’s underutilized in Goodfellas. In Casino, that’s not the case- Bob is given the keys to the car & he drives the shit out of it. I think Casino is the best De Niro-Scorsese collaboration behind Taxi Driver.

The Spurs cannot afford to trade three first round picks before Wemby, Castle, and Harper extension kick in. They will need ways to replinish talent in the middle of Wemby's prime.

@seandsweeney What are the actual solutions for getting the general public to find the center again so we can start agreeing on things and make actual progress? That is such a tough problem to solve, but I think it starts with fixing the awful social media algorithms.

I’m so sick of American politics in 2026. Both sides. It’s either every man for himself and don’t ever think about your fellow man or do anything to help him, or we all have to be equal and burn all the billionaires. Both options suck. How about we let businesses thrive in this country and mostly stay out of their way, and also carve out some of our ridiculous federal budget to help those who need help and a leg up getting started with some services. It’s really, truly not that complicated.
