The thing that winds me up is how Elon has a trillion because he’s set up a system where he forcibly takes 40% of what hard working people produce, leverages it up as debt, spends it ineffectively and does dumb things to win the votes of millions of people who’ve become dependent on his handouts.

This is about American entrepreneurship. Let's remember the tens of thousands of jobs he's created, the billions in taxes he's paid, the advances in technology he's given back that makes everybody's life better, and we wanna punish that? That's not the American way. That's not how it works. What they're talking about is limiting the success of individuals, which I think is at the core of what drives the American economy. They should applaud the success of this, do their jobs, which is create policy that creates more Elon Musk, not less of them.

Here is why: If California would tax Elon 50% of his wealth, that would add $550 BILLION for the California budget (instead of going to Mars and build infinity intelligence, which is useless anyway because no one needs intelligence, duh). This could make a HUGE difference for Californians. Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.
