I’ve spent my career expanding opportunity — helping people get access to jobs, skills, and a pathway into the digital economy. Now I’m running for Congress to do the same for South Florida families. Grateful to @WLRN for amplifying the story. wlrn.org/government-pol…

There's going to be one story this November: that Florida Democrats built a coalition the state has not seen in a generation - big enough to include independents and Republicans, strong enough to fight for all Floridians. This is a coalition of change-makers.

I’m Hector Mujica, and I’m running for Congress. I’m raising my son Luca here in South Florida, and like so many parents, I’m thinking about the future we leave our kids. I want him to grow up in a community where hard work still means something, where families can afford to stay, and where opportunity doesn’t keep slipping further out of reach. That’s why I’m stepping up and asking for your support.

That didn't long ... Voting rights groups along with groups such as ACLU & the Florida Immigrant Coalition filed a federal lawsuit against Florida's newly-signed election law even though several major provisions do not take effect until 2027.

For years, Florida agreed: protect our coast. Now that line is being pushed, hard. More drilling. Closer to shore. We know exactly what that leads to. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. This isn’t just bad policy. It’s a risk Florida cannot afford.

President Trump can sign whatever the hell he wants to, but it won’t change the Constitution. The authority to set our election rules belongs to the states — and as Governor, I will protect your right to vote. That includes your right to vote by mail.

#Cuba is holding in detention a 16 year old who protested in Moron earlier this month.
Cubalex@CubalexDDHH

#Cuba #SOSCuba #DerechosHumanos #DDHH #Protestas #ProtestaNoEsDelito
