In a sea of information (think bits), there is no such thing as fact. It's not an object. "3 people died in a car crash yesterday..." is something you need to arrive to. The focus shouldn't be on whether someone agrees with your version of the truth, but on the methodology to draw such conclusions. And these should be discussed or debated. N.b. I'm not saying the universe is made of bits, it's just an illustrative example to explain I mean information in the fundamental sense.

Before someone is allowed to post on social media, they should be able to pass a test on their ability to discern what is true and what is false. If they fail, they have to take a course on source evaluation & misleading framing.
