@bsdnazz @GarethDennis @killerbadger Just repeatedly saying “You’re wrong” isn’t an argument. Why can’t we allow people a choice in a consultation? What’s your agenda?

I've a fair amount of criticism for them on other matters (⚡️), but good to see East West Rail (@ewrconsortium) being pretty robust in their response to the - deeply misplaced - idea that the northern approach into Cambridge is a good idea... cambridgeindependent.co.uk/news/east-west…

@GarethDennis @ewrconsortium To be democratic, it still needs explaining & for us to have the choice. That is why a full consultation was & is essential (and will be grounds for appeal if not done)

@GarethDennis @ewrconsortium A key point is that is was undemocratic not to include the northern route as an option in *any* consultations. A point I’ve been making from the start, and which undermines everything.

@GarethDennis @killerbadger How the question is asked matters. Asking “Have you stopped beating your wife?” is an unfair question. Not consulting on a northern route is an unfair consultation.

@killerbadger @MarkAPilling I'm not sure you are really reading what I am writing here: why would an option that does not work get consulted upon?
