27 year old Dillon Dube has made quite the impression on the #stlblues who gave him an opportunity this season. He’s made a great connection with Steve Ott scoring 20 goals and 37 pts in 46 games. Plus 5 pts in 7 playoff games including the series OT clincher last night vs Providence. Can assume there will be an opportunity for Dube beyond this season with STL. A number of NHL teams have taken notice, including STL who likely have a plan for him.

@jprutherford this will be a massive failure/setback if Schenn and Faulk are still here later today. Their values won't be any higher. This is where the focus should have been, not this other smoke

Some thoughts: You'd expect the Blues to be busy, but it takes trade partners. Army's prices have been high, but push comes to shove when this day finally comes. -- It's been quiet on the Thomas front. A few teams could make a last-ditch effort, otherwise this is headed to the offseason. -- It makes a lot of sense to trade Faulk today. Several right-shot D have been dealt, putting Faulk at top of teams' wish-list. -- Re: Parayko I can't see him waiving NTC after vetoing the Buffalo deal. My guess is it will get revisited in the offseason. -- It's Hofer's team, so Binnington likely to be moved at some point. Options limited now, but could open up in June. -- Schenn wants to stay, but realizes the Blues' situation and would move, though only for the perfect spot. He deserves that. -- It's been quiet, too, on Kyrou, but I believe the Blues are trying to move him. Will require best return, so like Thomas, no rush. -- If the Blues are going into a longer retool/rebuild, moving Buchnevich would be a top priority, but can they do it? --Suter, Sundqvist, Fowler are also trade candidates, but won't yield much in return. I just didn't want to leave them off list.

@twelcher15 again, not a salary dump. If you want Thomas, it's gotta be a hockey trade with equal player coming back. We have our own prospects.

I mean given the pieces that you’re talking about here, the Blues must be getting a hefty piece in return as well. There’s zero value in Skinner for the Blues that would warrant the Oilers getting Binnington + a defensemen in this scenario
