So there's focus on Farage's £5m gift from Christopher Harborne, a foreign based crypto billionaire who has lived in Thailand for over 25 years. But almost no coverage of Ben Habib's other revelation that Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson both received £1m gifts from earlier. Gifting is fine and normal, big or small, but in the context of politicians driving Brexit, the thing which has caused more economic damage to our country than COVID, shouldn't we have better standards or safeguards for donations to politicians? Also, can someone spare a thought for Nathan Gill? He only got £40k for badmouthing the EU and driving Brexit. Farage says he got £5m for the same.
