The Equalizer (1985-89). Stewart Copeland used a Fairlight CMI Series II for the theme music: an expensive piece of kit for the time with 32 kHz sampling.
A number of musicians preferred the (arguably more capable) Synclavier II, but the Fairlight II did had a unique sound and its Page R sequencer was easy to use. You know it when you hear it!
In 1988 Copeland released The Equalizer & Other Cliff Hangers, an album of some of his instrumental scores for TV. I think it's on Spotify if you want to check it out.
