Yeah frankly the people saying “no one cares about rough sleeping” are just showing themselves up as pretty badly out of touch.
It’s obviously both a moral issue & an issue of sense of wellbeing & security in impacted communities.

Seen a few people saying rough sleeping policy isn’t aimed at median public concern. Quite apart from any policy/moral imperative it really is - rough sleeping comes up time again in focus groups as one of the most visible signs of Broken Britain and community decline!

In order to achieve it he’ll have to move quickly to reverse changes to the asylum system that push recognised refugees into homelessness & definitely will have to scrap plans to extend NRPF to people with settled status.

Glad that Spain won the tournament.
Iran were a joy to watch. Cape Verde were a joy to watch. Scotland were dire in every particular and do not deserve the support they get. The players of the tournament were Mbappe and Bellingham.
Easily the best game of football throughout was England vs France for third place. England in that game were superb.
Tuchel under utilised his squad and has to take responsibility for England going out in the semis.
