In the past "cool kids ministry" looked down on @Awana Clubs as "old fashion." Fast forward to today & parents r getting kids out of screens & into tactile experiences where kids memorize the Bible & play games. Suddenly Awana U.S. is cool again & we grew by 81,000 kids in 2025.

@SpeechWrx @Markins Then that's between them and God. No one is entitled to know the private matters of a marriage they're not in. God judges the heart. Not you.

@c_talbot Separate but connected issue: I wonder how these people get anything productive done with how much time they spend acting as gatekeepers of social media.

🚨 UPDATE: @Awana U.S. grew by 134,501 children in weekly child discipleship engagement in the past 2 years! (This doesn’t even count Int’l growth.) We have 2 Chief Metrics at Awana: #1 is Lasting Faith in Jesus. We measure this by commissioning independent Impact Studies that assess long term fruit. #2 is Weekly Engagement (known to form lasting faith) based on the Awana Child Discipleship philosophy which is biblical & research backed. Latest impact reports here: awana.org/global-impact/

Hey, thanks for the recommendation. As a fellow advocate for victims and a protector of children, I / we share your concerns. One of our top 5 multi-year goals is to strengthen our global infrastructure which includes the areas we’ve chatted about in the past. Although we will not be working with GRACE, we have similar orgs & individuals who are helping us accomplish corresponding objectives. Peace to you.

"If you try to live a perfect life in front of your children, you will inevitably lie to your children and gaslight them about your sins. And they will know. Have the courage and honesty to live before God and in front of your children."

@ramblingeveron Superlatives just don’t work for me in this conversation. It’s difficult to compare. Each is its own thing. But within each lane, there are superior drivers. Sorry. No help here.

You have freedom, choice, agency and…power. Use it for human thriving. And nothing cultivates thriving more then the Gospel. “Power is not something Christian’s can or should avoid but is a reality. Something to be stewarded for good ends.” @ahc
