Michael, teachers get things done irrespective of the size of your luggage, your access to online check in, or your ability to pay extra to sit with your friends. When things go wrong they help, in person. And if school is cancelled, they will make sure you get home safely.

I have been saying this for years...minimising early childhood to just 'childcare' undermines the complexity and criticality of ECEC and the ECEC profession. Language matters. Working toward a competent system that works for children, parents and educators matters @pemireland
