Food at Shanghai Disneyland isn’t as cheap as Tokyo Disney Resort, but we found a cheap option at Pinocchio Village Kitchen, you can get a side dish of pork strips with sweet & sour sauce ($7.29) plus rice for 73¢ = total $8.02 👍

@HistoryAtDisney The other photos from this set are telling; Computer Central is racing to be weather tight whilst Ccore west is still dirt. And poor Imagination had just begun.

Construction of Epcot Center as seen in August of 1981. I always find this photo so interesting as we are a little more than a year from opening and most of the buildings are still in the vertical stage of construction! I also like seeing the skeletal supports for the SSE legs.

Love that some theme parks in China post the ride layout at the entrance & in the middle of the queue as part of the fire evacuation plan for guests to see. As a dark ride enthusiast, this is amazing! This is a map of Legend of Nuwa, a 10-min dark ride at Fantawild in Mianyang

@SoCal360 We were so touched at Ngong Ping in Hong Kong. After visiting a shop the young assistant came to find us. He was doing an English language course at school and “wanted to practise his English” on us. He was very good!

Kids in China get so excited when they hear us speaking English or really anyone speaking it especially at theme parks while waiting for a ride. They’re super fascinated and curious and many want to learn English too! Some even ask the craziest questions 😬😂

@SoCal360 Pleasantly surprised with them selling ponchos for a dirt cheap price in the line at Shanghai Disneys Roaring Rapids.

Did you know a lot of people in China don’t like getting wet on water rides? That’s why like 98% of people wear ponchos. Some parks even make you rent a raincoat for about $2.90 for 1 ride & comes with face shield. Or you can buy a poncho with shoe covers from them for $10. 💦

If they build another EPCOT in China it’s either gonna be god’s gift to themed entertainment or the most miserable hodgepodge of random bullshit you can conceive
