On discharge I've normally deflated the foley and removed the subhepatic drain. I then review foley output via our SAU. Prefer to do Tubogram before removal.

Collaborators will otherwise disengage. This is why a good team is so important as each member can contribute/continue to take things when others busy.Regular updates/ messages via email/ twitter really help.

But then these definitions and or reference ranges need to be easy to access/ ideally visible on the data collection form. Participants are unlikely to trawl through the protocol again to find them. Pop up messages/ text boxes help.

My point is I think it’s a disgrace. Add into the cost 8 years of ISCP, that’s another 2 grand. GMC fees, indemnity, a higher degree, meeting registration fees…easily over 26,000 and there goes your F1 pre-tax salary.
