We keep talking about Chernobyl (only), but what about the successful ones?
There have only been 3 out of 826 (nuclear reactor) accidents. That’s a 0.36% failure.

@AnganaKeith I watched Chernobyl nuclear disaster documentary and how Japan struggled with Fukushima and I feel we're not ready ... lets exhaust other sources of energy like wind farms, solar etc....

I used to be like this, I thought there was something deep and alluring about the darkness and moodiness and sullenness. But then I went through something really traumatic and incredibly lonely, and I realized some of the few souls willing to sit with me through the experience, who embodied depth, understanding, and patience, were the kind and positive ones. They weren’t fake, their optimism did not feel desperate. They were just grateful life-giving people who saw the bigger picture, deeply truthful people, who understood how sinful cynicism was.

Let it never be forgotten that my brother is 13 years older than me, and when he went off to college I was deeply entrenched in my "The Little Mermaid" obsession, and when he and a group of friends went out to a karaoke place, there was a group of girls having fun singing Disney songs and my brother got up and busted out a perfect rendition of "Under the Sea" and long story short I was the reason mv brother met his wife.

My Dad worked for some Japanese guys as a consultant in the 80's to help them set up Wagyu beef plants.
My parents cooked them dinner and didn't realize it was rude in Japan to refuse food being put in front of you, my parents kept serving them until one of them threw up.

If you see a diabetic developing serious symptoms (confusion, shaking, sweating) and you're not sure if it’s because of high/low blood sugar, give them some sugar first if they're still conscious while trying to get to the hospital.
Low blood sugar kills fast but high blood sugar won't be significantly worsened by a small sugar dose.
When in doubt, give sugar.

my husband and i met when we were like 22 and finishing college. we were not dating but used to hang out all the time at his house. one day i was there probably drinking coffee with his mom as usual and she said hey tomorrow the mayor is coming here to marry us (her and stepdad) do you wanna come? i said ya sure that would be fun! i came the next day and it was just me and my (now) husband, his brother and his wife, and his stepdad’s two daughters and their fiancés. mind you they are all like a decade older than us. we are basically children. they do the wedding in the living room and then get everyone together for a group picture. oh i will sit out, i think. no, his mom insisted on me being in it. anyway i am still in the picture hung in the hallway, in the center, and the two fiancés (who were placed on the ends) have been photoshopped out bc they all broke up lmao.

It feels incredibly reasonable to not want your sister’s boyfriend in your wedding photos, actually. I’m not sure why folks are acting like that’s a crazy opinion. They weren’t engaged or married at the time, and wedding photos are EXPENSIVE. Feels like a reasonable precaution?

Form 2 I got drunk on a sachet of Poolers. Called my Dad to pick me up. He was also tipsy at minimum and suspected but couldn't confirm I was drunk due to his own inebriation. Even smelling my breath didn't work, he had to send his wife to investigate 😂
