Much like @StillMartPracEd (well, exactly the same if truth be told), but with less stuff that makes me angry & more rugby. Bath & England (lives in Cardiff).

@ruff_rydazz @Scienceofsport Not true. The four step process is very clear (What hasn’t been is the sudden change I interpretation during the tournament and inconsistent application between games)

The South African commentators and studio pundits still don’t understand the four elements of the head contact process. Quite disappointing how superficially they explain it. I know it’s imperfect, but it involves more than our SA viewers are told

@thepaulwilliams Or even ‘Wales A’ or ‘England A’ etc vs tier 2 fixtures before/after a tier 1 vs tier 1 game? (Not ideal for their development I know ,but could kill 2 birds with 1 stone (& possibly more attractive for a big self-centred tier 1 union?)

If tier one teams are going to struggle to accommodate tier 2 teams in the schedule. Can tier 2 fixtures become part of the same fixture? ie Georgia v Portugal at Twickenham before England play NZ for example. Double header which would be fantastic exposure on TV etc

@BBCPolitics @bbclaurak 2/2 That is long gone. Now we have even lost the social contract of ‘if you work hard in any job, you will receive enough to live relatively free of worries about feeding & housing your family’ (forget luxury) Hard Work no longer has the benefit for millions which it used to

@BBCPolitics @bbclaurak Forget the social contract of ‘if you work hard & pay NI then the NHS will pay for your care should you need it, some pension age, a safety net should you become unemployed, or the social & moral responsibility to help those less fortunate than ourselves’ 1/2

I don’t like driving at 20mph. I’d much rather drive at 30. But I understand what the 20mph limit is for and stick to it —because it’s far more important than my impatience as a “motorist”. There’s no war on motorists- there’s only a community I live in - incl my 2 young kids.

Agree or disagree with the govt position on net zero, but it is plainly wrong of PM to say that “all modelling suggests we will meet our targets regardless” The truth is that we are off track to deliver on our targets and do not have the practical plans in place to change this.

@Mikeyweal @the2ndRow It’s a competitive game , it’s an underdog playing up, Georgia are playing with pure heart: I’m not sure what you look for in competitive team sport, but you might be better off watching a team of professionals take on an under-10 side instead 👍

@WelshGasDoc @omapemby73 Personally Depeche Mode every time (But if you ask me - which you aren’t, but tough - Personal Jesus isn’t a patch on Enjoy the Silence, which I will happily & pretentiously state is one of the greatest records ever recorded)

Depeche Mode and “Personal Jesus” was skipped. Never mind, it was Top 40 in America and heralded their longest run of US success. #potp

@PlanetRugby There is really nothing miraculous about this: Everyone is talking about like he is going straight back into contact as if nothing has happened He won’t play for at least 2 weeks and everything will be non-contact for quite a while yet

@drp297 @docdai @Sonjamclaughlan He isn’t going to play for at least 2 weeks If he has returned to training,it will be non-contact (There is no chance he will just go straight back in as if nothing has happened) We should all be concerned with brain initials, but isn’t that what graduated return to play is for?

@docdai @Sonjamclaughlan 3 weeks post collision is reasonable under the concussion protocols(presuming he's passed them) . Speaking to some Max-fax surgeons, no huge worries regarding the fracture/plating after 2 weeks. So seems kosher to me

@caviterginsoy @AndyCoxDCS I don't have data to support it, if that's what you mean. But it's 3,465 miles from London to New York. And a 747 will carry 660 passengers. So one successful flight clocks up 2.3 million passenger miles. Which is like driving from Lands End to John O'Groats nearly 4000 times.
