It was a wonderful ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral followed by a delightful lunch at the Guildhall providing a great opportunity to meet guests.

@Tijs_Broeke @COLA_Trust Great news Tijs. Two new high achieving sixth forms in Islington and Hackney is definitely something to celebrate. We need all schools to provide an excellent education where students achieve their potential. The City's academies are setting a high standard.

@AnneFairweather @XRLondon Apart from some (bad) publicity actions like this achieve nothing. Most people object to this unnecessary damage and disruption. The cost of cleaning the buildings will be paid by residents and businesses in the City of London leaving less money for essential services.

Very disappointing to see, it’s hard to understand what it achieves. I mean if @XRLondon want to read our Climate Strategy and critique it I’d be happy to read their email & respond. This tells me nothing.

@Barbican_Assoc Is it only dog mess which is prohibited? Dogs allowed but on a lead I assume. Is it only trumpets which are banned or all musical instruments and why? What about bikes and skateboards? Shouldn't they be banned?

If the Annex A list of councils included in the 'education contingency framework' is right, this is how it maps across London - magenta is under the framework. I cannot discern any logic to it

This will take up to 85 vehicles off the roads each day, meaning 23,000 less vehicle journeys in central London every year. The City of London aims to deliver two additional Last Mile Logistic Hubs by 2022 and is aiming for a total of five Last Mile Logistics Hubs by 2025.

The Planning & Transportation Committee approved the initiative which will transform 39 car parking spaces in London Wall car park into a hub for Amazon Logistics. The final leg of parcel deliveries will be undertaken by e-cargo bikes and people on foot.

@blp_city Great News! The City of London Corporation has approved its first Last Mile Logistics Hub to consolidate deliveries across central London, reduce traffic and cut harmful emissions.
