President William Ruto has transmitted to Parliament the nominees for appointment as the Chairperson and six Members of the National Land Commission.

President Ruto tells Parliament that IEBC has cleared Kindiki as being qualified for DP position. He has also been cleared by DCI, KRA, CRB, EACC and HELB.

President @WilliamsRuto has nominated and forwarded to the National Assembly the name of Prof @KindikiKithure as Deputy President. If approved, the Interior Cabinet Secretary will succeed Rigathi Gachagua who was impeached by the Senate on Thursday.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency President @WilliamsRuto for entrusting me with the role of Cabinet Secretary for Defence in the first Kenya Kwanza Administration. I am deeply honored and will forever be indebted to him and the people of Kenya for this opportunity to serve our great nation. As the Quran says, “But they plan, and Allah plans. Mzee Moses Lemaikai Matura leaves behind a very rich legacy - uneducated himself and against many societal odds, he ensured all his children, boy and girl alike, got a quality education; he was also a firm Christian and a shrewd businessman.. At the requiem mass of the late Moses Lemaikai Matura at Kimuka Village, Kajiado County. Mzee Matura, 86, is the father to Ms Sophia Matura, Vice Chairperson of the @NEMAKenya board.

Anything that paves the way for the best interest of our Nation, at this point in time, is preeminent.
