Yankee Stadium 1 was a cathedral, even after the renovation. It saw more baseball history than any other park. Yankee Stadium 2 is just a place where baseball gets played. Nothing more.

@architecturejks For most cities, it’s a lot more than every 10 years. Super Bowl hasn’t returned to Detroit in 20 years, Dallas in 15 years, Indianapolis in 14 years, Minneapolis got one 9 years ago and won’t get another anytime soon. If Cleveland or KC, get a Super Bowl, it will be just one.

NFL stadiums should cater only to their local fans & community - not to hosting a Super Bowl every 10 years. Buffalo deserves a lot of credit for this.
