@GeraldoRivera The problem's not that Trump "forgot" to return the classified documents, but wouldn't when he was asked to do so. So either he tried to hide something more serious, or he's just plain stupid.

I have made it clear over the last several years that I will never, ever support Donald Trump running for President of the United States again. But I absolutely agree with him that the documents case is an inflated political persecution that is unfit for American public life. It’s like someone forgetting to return their library books, and the cops coming to retrieve them. It is bogus, embarrassing and, ultimately will help him more than hurt. It is a pity we wasted so much time and energy on so superfluous an exercise of random government power.
