@texasrunnerDFW curious to see what industries typical buyers represent (i.e. tech, software etc). There are so many tech companies that are impacted by cost reductions, AI etc. How much impact do you think that may have on softening home prices. There is correlation there, I believe. Insights (?)

One minute video update on the housing market in the Dallas Suburbs: Sellers are stuck in 2022, buyers are having none of it, and agents are freely admitting how bad it is!

@eric_seufert What if they "an innovator" aligned a trigger to open another window to play free short form "opt in" content during the 90 second advertisement? Its coming...

@eric_seufert What is the optimal balance of content and ads which proves that there is value in the “product” versus being the product yourself in traditional social media (and I guess, commerce)?

"The most successful consumer apps didn't rely on paid advertising to scale!" When unit economics support profitable user acquisition, *not* pursuing advertising leaves money on the table.

@texasrunnerDFW Watch the REIT stocks. IMHO it’s all about a safety net for the anchor properties that fuel surrounding small/medium businesses. Not a bad thing but…

It’s really cool how people mortgaged themselves up the gills for new construction houses in exurbs, right before employers told everyone to return to office and right before gas prices spiked and doubled

First SaaS and now this. Not unexpected but something to watch. I think Google, among a select few, has done an exemplary job of reinventing itself (so far). cnbc.com/2026/03/16/apo…

@eric_seufert Thats probably a very insightful graphic, pixelated eyeballs, blurred-vision. Television deployment/adoption, cost curve reduction would never have had happened without advertising. The question is, when is too much...too much?

Worth noting that the television is YouTube's principal device by watch time.

@eric_seufert The sales of TVs were subsidized by advertising, cable networks etc. Its was a natural evolution but wish it hadn't happened that fast with AI. Now we have a bias on top of a bias...

In February of 2008, unemployment was 4.9% (today it’s 4.4%) By December of 2008, it was 7.2% Here is a chart showing what oil was doing in 2008 (I circled Jan-July of 2008) Did this turn out to be a big inflationary shock?

@texasrunnerDFW Wonder what the wealth transfer amounts will be post baby boomers? I don’t think it’s an optimist outlook at the moment.

@bobevansIT The big players have to focus on accelerating adoption through internal employees, customers and partners. M&A has to be on complete offense like never before looking for new use cases and business models.
